MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE SRI LANKA-PAKISTAN BUSINESS COUNCIL AND PAKISTAN SRI LANKA BUSINESS FORUM |
THE SRI LANKA-PAKISTAN BUSINESS COUNCIL (SLPBC) and the PAKISTAN SRI LANKA BUSINESS FORUM, hereinafter referred to as “The Parties”, wishing to strengthen economic and trade ties between Sri Lanka and Pakistan have agreed to sign the following MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING: It is agreed between THE SRI LANKA-PAKISTAN BUSINESS COUNCIL and the PAKISTAN SRI LANKA BUSINESS FORUM as follows: The Parties shall take all the opportunities within their competence to promote, strengthen, and expand trade, economic, scientific, technological cooperation, and other business relations between concerned organizations and firms of both the parties. The Parties will exchange information about commerce, industry, and economy in general. Of their respective economies. The Parties will assist their members in establishing and strengthening business contacts through the organization of events, such as conferences, seminars, exchange of trade and investment missions, and participation in trade fairs, with the objective of promoting the growth of trade between Sri Lankan and Pakistani businessmen. The Parties shall undertake such other steps as needed to further the interests of both sides for the realization of this Memorandum. The Parties shall work out concrete measures ensuing from the Memorandum and inform each other of their fulfillment. |
